She moved to Devon in 2015 and has been a Trustee with Olive Bearers from the start and is in the process of taking on some of the administration tasks. She is an avid supporter and sponsors 2 children at St Annes School. She enjoys cycling, walking, cooking and music and is passionate about learning and empowering others. Joyce is a Born again, spirit filled Christian and drives a double decker, 76-seater Stagecoach big red bus!
Muriel
Muriel is passionate about ensuring the children receive an education, equipping them with essential skills for a sustainable future. Having been brought up in Zimbabwe, she experienced some of the hardships people face in developing countries and from then she always had a heart to help bring a change to those in need. She has been a Trustee in Olive Bearers since 2020. As the OB Sponsorship Coordinator, she communicates with sponsors and gives updates on how the children and sponsored adults are doing. She enjoys travelling, cooking, reading and loves a good adventure. Muriel is a devoted Christian and a Nurse by profession.
