About Olive Bearers

The name Olive Bearers was birthed in February 2013. We are Olive Bearers, not olive producers! The fruit comes from the Olive Tree (our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ). We are grafted in! The branches simply bear (carry) the fruit.

Olive Bearers is a Christian charity based in Paignton, Devon UK working with Bumala Visions, a Christian based organisation in Kenya. The fruits of the olive tree are air borne 5,000 miles from UK to the heart of Africa! Bwana Asifiwe! Praise the Lord!

OLIVE BEARERS believe that every child has a right to an education and with God leading the way, we now sponsor over 70 children who attend St Annes School in Bumala, Kenya. Each child is provided with two meals per day, basic healthcare, school uniform, new shoes and bag each year and school provisions, ensuring a safe and healthy future that continues to transform lives.

Olive Bearers was granted charitable status in 2019 (Registration 1186167). Our objectives are to prevent or relieve poverty and financial hardship anywhere in the world, by providing finances for education, training, healthcare, and food fund projects as and when funds are available.
